The Supreme Master Ching Hai
Supreme Master Ching Hai conveyed Her sincere support and respectful congratulations in a letter sent to His Excellency Edgar Lungu, inaugurated as President of Zambia on January 25, Golden Year 12 (2015).
With a heart and mind devoted to the people of Zambia, President Edgar Lungu has pledged to continue the development of all parts of the nation, which includes building more schools and hospitals, and ensuring the construction of suitable roads. He has also taken steps to invest US$14 million for water and sanitation improvements in 100 villages in the 16 districts of the country’s Western Province. Furthermore, routine weekly meetings called “Katwambas” are being held,with the media and government officials.
His Excellency’s endeavors will also help to safeguard the environment through the creation of the Malawi-Zambia Trans-frontier Conservation Area to work towards managing and conserving the wildlife and natural resources between the two nations, further building the noble country of Zambia.
