Supreme Master Ching Hai Extends Congratulations to the New Prime Minister of Spain

Inaugurated as Spain’s prime minister on June 2, Golden Year 15 (2018), His Excellency Pedro Sánchez has had extensive experience in government; the former economist and basketball player served as an adviser in the European Parliament, chief of staff for the United Nations’ high representative in Bosnia, and a member of Madrid’s City Council.

In order to better connect with his people, His Excellency went on a 25,000-mile (40,000-kilometer) road trip to speak with groups of co-citizens large and small about issues of shared concern. He told reporters in October 2016, “I’m going to start again. Starting on Monday, I’m getting back in my car to travel through every corner of Spain again and listen to those who haven’t been heard….”

Prime Minister Sánchez has also made efforts to rebuild Catalonia’s relationship with the rest of Spain.

Above is Supreme Master Ching Hai’s letter congratulating His Excellency on his inauguration.
