The Supreme Master Ching Hai

Redefine Meat, officially known as JetEat, is an Israeli startup which uses 3D technology to print vegan steak that has a similar taste, texture and appearance to meat, with 95% less impact on the environment, zero cholesterol and will be priced more affordably than what is currently on the market.
Upon hearing the wonderful news that Redefine Meat was declared one of the winners of the 2018 Food Accelerator Network Program competition, Supreme Master Ching Hai presented this leading vegan technology company with the Shining World Protection Award, plus a humble contribution of US$20,000 towards this noble project.
Five members of the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association from China and the USA arrived in Israel and met with the CEO Mr. Eshchar Ben-Shitrit, and the Redefine Meat team on June 13, 2019.
We presented Master’s Shining World Protection Award to Mr. Eshchar Ben-Shitrit and his team. He expressed his deep appreciation, saying, “For a start-up, any contribution makes a big, big, big impact.”
Mr. Ben-Shitrit then explained why their new name, Redefined Meat, is more suitable than JetEat. “The formal name of the company, is Jet Eat, but the name still relies on technology.” he stated, “The mission is stronger than the technology and as a collective, we realized we are more committed to the community, the movement and the vision to redefine meat.” thus the new name was born.
After the award presentation, an interview with Mr. Eshchar Ben-Shitrit, Co-Founder and CEO, was conducted which covered topics such as the reason why he started this company, technical aspects of food printing, and his vision for the company and for the world.
After the interview, we were invited to their high-tech lab where we witnessed the printing machine in action as well as joining a cooking demonstration of the newly printed patty. We were amazed by this future of food production and astonished by the taste. Redefine Meat plans to adapt this new technology to develop vegan chicken, vegan fish and many other vegan food items.
We were so honored and grateful to Master for being instrumental in presenting Her Shining World Protection Award and interviewing these brilliant and innovative vegan entrepreneurs at Redefine Meat. With Master’s Blessings we will surely have a vegan world very soon.
