The Supreme Master Ching Hai
His Excellency Mauricio Macri was elected as President of Argentina on November 22, Golden Year 12 (2015).
Supreme Master Ching Hai conveyed Her appreciation for His Excellency’s commitment to help all Argentinians have a happier life. His dedication can be attested by his actions during his role as mayor of Buenos Aires, where he financed flood prevention works, strengthened security with the development of a police force and inaugurated Metrobus, a bus rapid transit public transportation system, in the city.
As president, His Excellency continues his dedication to his co-citizens, pledging to enhance the economy of Argentina through welcoming investment into the country and building stronger relations with other nations. He stated, “Argentina wants to have good ties with the entire world. I want to create jobs. I have committed myself to an Argentina with zero poverty. We need investment.” In keeping with that pledge, President Macri has lifted currency controls in Argentina and reduced administrative restrictions to international trade.
