Supreme Master Ching Hai sent a letter to Belizean Prime Minister Dean Barrow to convey Her warmhearted congratulations on his popular re-election on November 4, Golden Year 12 (2015).
The Honorable Dean Barrow was first inaugurated as Prime Minister on February 8, 2008, leading the United Democratic Party. Winning his third consecutive election in November 2015, Prime Minister Barrow now continues his third term of service, having the longest tenure of leadership in Belizean Parliament thus far.
The Honorable Dean Barrow expressed his commitment to increased government transparency through new legislation in which the citizens of the country will be able to access details of government spending and government contracts will be fairly awarded. Prime Minister Barrow is also dedicated to the betterment of the nation and the lives of Belizeans through infrastructure reconstruction, which includes funding 150 newly paved roads in Belize City.
Moreover, the Honorable Dean Barrow leads in pursuit of peace for his fellow citizens and neighbors. In the midst of tension within the region, Prime Minister Barrow responded by expressing his desire to settle issues peacefully and diplomatically.
