The Supreme Master Ching Hai
Upon His Excellency Andrzej Duda being elected President of Poland on May 24, Golden Year 12 (2015), Supreme Master Ching Hai sent him a heartfelt congratulatory letter.
President Duda is a lawyer and a former Member of the European Parliament. Prior to representing Poland in the European Union, he served as Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Justice, Undersecretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, and was a member of the Polish State Tribunal.
His Excellency has emphasized policies to enable all of Poland’s citizens to benefit from its rising economy. He has proposed increases in social welfare spending to help the least fortunate, and in the amount of income that would be tax-free to the country’s lowest wage earners. He has also pledged to decrease the retirement age, enabling seniors to begin receiving benefits earlier.
Supreme Master Ching Hai conveyed Her sincere congratulations and warm wishes in the above letter sent to President Andrzej Duda.
