Supreme Master Ching Hai offered sincere congratulations to His Excellency David Cameron on his re-election on May 7, Golden Year 12 (2015), as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Through his experienced leadership and comprehensive economic and social planning, Prime Minister David Cameron has helped Britain to thrive, as employment increased by almost two million during his first term. Furthermore, His Excellency plans on creating two million more jobs.
Prime Minister Cameron’s 2015 economic plan focuses on benefiting hardworking citizens throughout their lives, and has created a clear direction for his country going forward. His Excellency states: “It is a plan for every stage of your life. For your newborn baby, there will be the world’s best medical care. For your child, there will be a place at an excellent school. As you look for your first job, we are building a healthy economy that provides a good career for you with a decent income. As you look for that first home, we will make sure the Government is there to help. As you raise your family, we will help you with childcare. And as you grow older, we will ensure that you have dignity in retirement.”
This plan includes making sure the country’s National Health Service is available seven days a week for all citizens who need it, with an increase in the number of doctors by 9,500 and nurses by 6,900 to secure quality care. As well, the plan includes providing each child with the educational opportunities needed to succeed.
There will be three million new apprenticeships created to ensure that young people could get their first job easily. As well, 200,000 new starter homes will be offered 20% below the current market price for first-time buyers under 40, helping to give families a good start. Free childcare will also be provided to working parents of three- to four-year-olds. As well, there has been a rise in the state pension, which will safeguard the quality of living for senior citizens.
