To celebrate International Migrants Day – December 18, new programs featuring Aulacese culture were added in December 2015 to the Supreme Art Exhibition featured at the Taiwan Glass Gallery in Changhua County. This “For the Love of Âu Lạc” special showing included Aulacese drama and poetry recitals as well as vegan Aulacese and Chinese food cooking classes, which were held on the weekends. On December 19, Aulacese dances and music were presented. Apart from watching the live traditional singing and dancing performances, the guests had a chance to enjoy authentic Aulacese vegan cuisine and tea.
The Supreme Art Exhibition Tour was featured at the Taiwan Glass Gallery from October 3 to December 27, Golden Year 12 (2015). A variety of Supreme Master Ching Hai’s exquisite artistic creations were shown, including Longevity Lamps, paintings, painted fans, stones and porcelains, S.M. Celestial Clothes, S.M. Celestial Jewelry, poetry and songs, attracting more than 10,000 visitors each week. (For more information, please refer to this related News report) ,
“For the Love of Âu Lạc” was conducted in both Chinese and Aulacese. All the descriptions of the exhibited items, posters, the profile of the Artist, books, and the introductions to dramas and poetry were in both languages. On Saturdays and Sundays, Aulacese interpreters were on site to help the new immigrants from Âu Lạc appreciate the displays and the essence of Supreme Master Ching Hai’s uplifting art. Many new immigrants expressed interest in knowing more about Master, and asked for more information about the Quan Yin Method and the vegan diet. Also, during the exhibition, Ms. Mạch Ngọc Trân, the Chair of Taichung Newcomers Association, came to visit with her friends.
On December 1, the Aulacese version of 4-Way Voice, the largest Aulacese newspaper in Formosa, used a full page to highlight this special event and introduce the Artist, Supreme Master Ching Hai. Formosa newspaper Taichung Evening News also reported on the exhibition on December 22.
“For the Love of Âu Lạc” was organized by our Association members in Formosa and Âu Lạc. The Aulacese members worked hard to translate the documents, act as interpreters, present dance performances and cook various vegan dishes to help ease the homesickness of the new Aulacese immigrants. Everyone involved deeply appreciated the opportunity to be part of this event so the public could enjoy Master’s beautiful artistic creations, and more importantly, get to know Her.
