In London during the 2015 VegfestUK, which is Europe’s prime vegan festival and keynote plant-based lifestyle show, Loving Hut was presented with the Best Vegan Restaurant award. The fastest growing international vegan restaurant chain in the world, Loving Hut was encouraged by Supreme Master Ching Hai’s caring vision to offer delectable and affordable vegan fare.
VegfestUK London 2015 was amongst the best ever, featuring booths, speakers, performers, films, comedy and much more. The event attracted around 12,000 visitors over the weekend of October 10 to 11. There were more than 200 stalls full of top-notch food, bodycare, cosmetics, fashion and more. The festival featured 13 specialist caterers with exceptional global cuisines; many celebrities and special guests; a host of high-profile speakers from all over the world; a health summit; an activists summit; performances with comedy and live music; cooking demos; a living raw preparation zone; two talk rooms highlighting topics on vegan nutrition, health, campaigns and lifestyle; movies; a zone for vegan teens; kids entertainment; kids cooking classes and more.
The awards ceremony celebrated the best of the vegan lifestyle in the United Kingdom, with 15 categories and 10 quality nominees in each category. In just over two months, approximately 7,000 people voted. In the category of Best Vegan Restaurant, Loving Hut was selected. The VegfestUK organizer Tim Barford gave the Loving Hut team a huge congratulations. The Loving Hut Express team had a stall at London VegFestUK and received the plaque. All the United Kingdom Loving Hut staff and volunteers were very pleased and extremely grateful to be able to serve the public with delicious vegan food.
To conclude the awards ceremony, Tim Barford reminded the audience that the prime reason these festivals were set up is to save the animals. Tim has been vegan for more than 30 years, and has received numerous awards for his outstanding dedication to sharing the compassionate vegan message with the public.
