Mothers, our heroines and God’s gift to our world.
Through a mother’s gentle eyes, God watches over us with affection, brings us protection, and rejoices in our growth.
Through a mother’s earnest mouth, God imparts wisdom, sings us lullabies, and breathes life into our lives.
Through a mother’s tender touch, God comforts us, firmly grounds us, and guides us on our journeys.
Through a mother’s heart, God plants the seed of unconditional love, of selfless sacrifice, and all-giving devotion.
No matter how big or small, aquatic or terrestrial, a mother is a very precious gift indeed.
With deep appreciation, we wish our mothers, human and animal alike, as well as Mother Earth who nurtures and blesses us all, a very happy Mother’s Day!
