The Democratic Republic of Congo is one of the most populated countries in Africa. With God’s grace, a Loving Hut opened in May 2018 in Kinshasa, the largest city in the country. The interior of the restaurant is decorated using Supreme Master Ching Hai’s beautiful art paintings and celestial lamps, creating a serene and loving ambiance. This new food addition to the bustling city offers a wide variety of delicious, fresh and healthy vegan meals to the locals as well as visitors from all over the world.
Many guests are fascinated by the excellent taste and freshness of the restaurant’s plant-based dishes, such as vegan (mock) chicken, vegan (mock) pork, vegan (mock) fish and a host of other nutritious and delectable cruelty-free selections. After savoring some of our in-house baked vegan cookies and cakes, a guest stated,
“your cookies and cakes are very delicious; and I am amazed that all the ingredients used in making them are exclusively plant-based.”
To bring more awareness of veganism to the local population, Loving Hut Kinshasa continuously plays Supreme Master TV , shares flyers on veganism and also displays Master’s books including From Crisis to Peace, The Noble Wilds, The Birds in my Life and many others for the guests to peruse during their delectable meals.
In addition, the Loving Hut staff have written over thirty letters to local media outlets such as television stations, radio stations and newspapers, inviting them to help inform the public on the benefits of a vegan diet. As a result of the advertising, Loving Hut Kinshasa appeared on a program hosted by a popular television station, RTVS1 and also was interviewed on the radio station, RTGA, where they talked about the positive impact of the organic vegan diet and the importance of abstaining from other poisonous items, such as alcohol, tobacco products and drugs.
