On July 7, Golden Year 13 (2016), His Excellency Jargaltulgyn Erdenebat became Mongolia’s new prime minister.
During the last decade, His Excellency Jargaltulgyn Erdenebat has been dedicated to improving Mongolia and living conditions for the people. Prime Minister Erdenebat became a member of parliament in 2012, after serving as provincial governor in Selenge Aimag since 2008. Prior to his election as prime minister, he helped initiate a number of beneficial projects as Minister of Finance. For example, in 2015, he aided in organizing a sustainable forest and peatlands management fund to protect and rehabilitate endangered natural ecosystems, and assisted in bringing employment to the people living in those areas.
Other achievements include the Education Quality Reform Project to advance the quality of education for primary school students, the E-Health Project to make the health system more proficient, and the SMART Government Project to make public services more accessible and efficient. Prime Minister Erdenebat now continues his efforts as representative of the Mongolian People’s Party, which pledged to build 100 factories in 21 provinces to create approximately 40,000 new jobs, as well as a promise to provide monetary support to new mothers for 18 months.
To further enhance economic growth, in October of Golden Year 13 (2016), Prime Minister Erdenebat met with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations.
Supreme Master Ching Hai sent the above letter to Prime Minister Jargaltulgyn Erdenebat to convey Her heartfelt congratulations on his appointment, and Her best wishes for the Mongolian nation and its pure-hearted people.
