The Supreme Master Ching Hai
Supreme Master Ching Hai conveyed Her heartfelt congratulations and best wishes in a letter sent to His Excellency Filipe Nyusi, elected as President of Mozambique on October 15, Golden Year 11 (2014).
A former engineer and administrator of Mozambique’s state railways, and the Minister of Defense from March 2008 to March 2014, President Filipe Nyusi was chosen by the ruling Frelimo party, which has governed the country since its independence in 1975. His Excellency pledged to improve the lives of the poor, to bring equality and justice for all and to create a freer, more united country. He emphasized the need for cohesion, and for supporting an environment of sustainable development and flourishing employment.
