The Supreme Master Ching Hai

Following Master’s loving instructions to bring aid to those in need wherever possible, from August 2015 to January 2016, our local Association members provided assistance to people in Northern Âu Lạc affected by severe weather and to those who are less fortunate.
In July and August 2015, torrential rainfall caused flash flooding and mudslides in Northern Âu Lạc. In addition to our relief efforts reported earlier (click here to see article), on August 19, 2015, our Aulacese Association members distributed gift packages to the Red Cross office in Na Hang District, Thanh Hóa Province for 150 families in need. Each gift consisted of a blanket, bed sheets, clothes, vegan cookies, candy, rice, instant noodles, cooking oil and sugar.
To help fund further relief assistance to the less fortunate people in Northern Âu Lạc who were facing a difficult economic situation, Supreme Master Ching Hai provided generous relief funds of US$10,000 and EUR 10,000 in September 2015.
On January 12, 2016, our Aulacese relief team went to the Central Children’s Hospital and distributed gift bags containing vegan snacks and soymilk to 150 children.
On January 16, 2016, severe flooding and a tornado affected the northern provinces, leaving many people in hardship and lacking necessities. Thus, on January 19, our relief team distributed VND 10,000,000 (US$439) to each of the nine families who had lost their homes. Next we traveled to Thanh Kỳ and Thanh Tâm Communes, Như Thanh District, Thanh Hóa Province and shared blankets, clothes and vegan food with 150 people in need. The recipients wholeheartedly expressed their gratitude to Supreme Master Ching Hai.
On January 29, we traveled to Trạm Tấu District, Yên Bái Province and distributed gift bags containing clothes, vegan food, cooking oil and seasoning to 50 disadvantaged families in Bản Công and Xà Hồ Communes. The recipients were deeply touched by Master’s loving concern. They expressed their thankfulness, and wished Master good health to continue helping people in desperate situations. Our relief team was also grateful for the opportunity to bring God’s love to those less fortunate.
