Love In Action

Master is always deeply concerned when disasters occur in any part of the world. Upon hearing news of such events, She immediately provides financial assistance and sends relief teams. Through such efforts, Her unconditional love and support are conveyed to those affected, thus reducing their suffering while helping them to rebuild their lives.

In recognition of the selfless actions of governments, organizations and relief workers around the globe, Master expresses Her gratitude as follows: "Thank you, all the international help that brings care and necessities to afflicted victims. Thank you all the relief workers for taking time and forsaking your own comfort, even traveling great distance on unfavorable roads and conditions to bring love and assistance to people in a time of need. May Heaven bless you abundantly for your generosity and noble sacrifice."

    Helping the Homeless in France and Italy

    In December 2012, upon hearing Master’s benevolent instructions to bring warmth to those in need during the winter, members of The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association from France formed a team and distributed warm blankets, clothing and sleeping bags to homeless and less fortunate residents of Menton and Nice, France and Ventimiglia and Sanremo, Italy. While purchasing the sleeping bags, the team received a 10% discount when the salesperson learned the bags were going to the homeless, and also offered some warm clothing to distribute on his behalf. With heartfelt compassion, Supreme Master Ching Hai contributed funds, of which €605.43 were used to support the team’s winter-relief efforts.

    While distributing the items, along with monetary gifts and vegan food, the team also provided copies of the “Alternative Living” and “Harms of Meat” flyers, designed by Supreme Master Ching Hai to explain the importance of keeping a wholesome, vegan diet. The recipients were sincerely thankful, and the hearts of all present were uplifted.
