The Supreme Master Ching Hai

Following Supreme Master Ching Hai’s caring instruction to help those less fortunate, with funds available for reimbursement, our Association members from Guangdong Province purchased 503 summer shirts on July 28, 2013 and delivered them to disadvantaged people in several cities, with the majority given to a village in Cangyuan County, Lincang City. The RMB 8,048 (US$1,318) used to purchase the clothing was contributed by our Association members.
In October, our Association members from Yunnan Province, China helped provide disadvantaged elementary and middle school students in Zhenkang County, a remote mountainous region in Lincang City, with needed supplies. Students boarding at Zhenkang township building were provided with uniforms, backpacks, and sports supplies such as basketballs, volleyballs, badminton rackets and shuttles, and jumping ropes, using our Association members’ own charity fund of RMB14,295 (US$2,353). This also included a gift to the school of RMB 2,000 (US$329) to purchase notebooks and stationery.
May all those in need in Lincang City have lives filled with prosperity, happiness and Heaven’s blessings.

Throughout their relief work, the team members paid RMB 2,600 (US$427) for their own travel expenses including transportation, food and lodging.
