Master is always deeply concerned when disasters occur in any part of the world. Upon hearing news of such events, She immediately provides financial assistance and sends relief teams. Through such efforts, Her unconditional love and support are conveyed to those affected, thus reducing their suffering while helping them to rebuild their lives.

In recognition of the selfless actions of governments, organizations and relief workers around the globe, Master expresses Her gratitude as follows: "Thank you, all the international help that brings care and necessities to afflicted victims. Thank you all the relief workers for taking time and forsaking your own comfort, even traveling great distance on unfavorable roads and conditions to bring love and assistance to people in a time of need. May Heaven bless you abundantly for your generosity and noble sacrifice."

    Delivering Briquettes to Bring Warmth to Those in Need in Korea

    Following Supreme Master Ching Hai’s loving instruction to render aid to those in need during the winter, on January 7, 2017, our Association members from Seoul, Korea delivered 2,000 briquettes to three disadvantaged families in a village in the city of Goyang. In winter, many people in remote areas still use briquettes for floor heating. On average, they use about six to eight pieces a day, and these families needed support to get through the winter, which is long and cold in Korea.

    To distribute the briquettes at their homes, we formed a long queue and passed each one by hand to the storage areas so they can be used conveniently. Even though the briquettes were heavy, everyone smiled happily and felt grateful for the precious opportunity to help these villagers. May they all have a warm and peaceful winter.
