On September 18, 2018, The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association and the Renan Homeless Social Welfare Foundation in Keelung held a party for the homeless at the United Community Center of Ciren Village and Anhe Village in Keelung. The event involved many charitable groups and enthusiastic volunteers with the hope of bringing a warm Mid-Autumn Festival to 250 homeless people during this traditional holiday for family reunions.
The Renan Homeless Social Welfare Foundation arranged free clinic and haircut services for the friends. Besides offering 500 vegan moon cakes, our Keelung Association members also donated 250 sets of toiletries containing soap, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and a razor, hoping to help the people blend into society and have a bright future.
Chairman of the Ping An Station Mr. Zhou Quan-yo thanked The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association for bringing warmth and care to people in need. He also presented a certificate of appreciation to our Association. Thanks to Master’s blessings, this Love in Action activity ended in an atmosphere full of graciousness and happiness.
