Love In Action

Master is always deeply concerned when disasters occur in any part of the world. Upon hearing news of such events, She immediately provides financial assistance and sends relief teams. Through such efforts, Her unconditional love and support are conveyed to those affected, thus reducing their suffering while helping them to rebuild their lives.

In recognition of the selfless actions of governments, organizations and relief workers around the globe, Master expresses Her gratitude as follows: "Thank you, all the international help that brings care and necessities to afflicted victims. Thank you all the relief workers for taking time and forsaking your own comfort, even traveling great distance on unfavorable roads and conditions to bring love and assistance to people in a time of need. May Heaven bless you abundantly for your generosity and noble sacrifice."

    Helping Those Who Are Homeless During Winter in Hamburg, Germany

    In response to Supreme Master Ching Hai’s compassionate instruction to help individuals in need and those less fortunate, our Association members from Hamburg, Germany bought warm clothing for the homeless community in November 2016, as winter is the most difficult time for them. We contributed EUR 1,530, and purchased items such as jackets, socks, pullovers and blankets.

    In order to distribute these items effectively, we contacted Ms. Julia Radojkovic from the “Mobile Bullysuppenküche Hamburg,” a group of volunteers who distribute warm soup, coffee, tea and toiletries on certain Sundays to those who are homeless in the city.

    On November 13, together with Ms. Julia Radojkovic and her team, we went to Reeperbahn Street, where we found many homeless people. In addition to the winter supplies, we also distributed warm vegan goulash, homemade bread and vegan muffins prepared by our Loving Huts in Hannover and Hamburg. The recipients were extremely happy and grateful for the warm food and clothing.  Some of them immediately put on the jackets. We were so happy to see their smiling faces.

    We thank Ms. Julia Radojkovic and her team for their support, and we pray that our humble efforts will bring a little warmth and comfort to those without proper homes, especially during the winter season. Our deep gratitude to Master for the opportunity to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters.
